I must agree that the rules will work, but im not able to say that the relationship will be 100% genuine. its not that you are starting a relationship based on lies, because rules girls dont lie! your just being light and brezzy and "hard to get" which is somewhat common knowledge. this book was published in the 90's and can be out of date in some people's views. for instance text messaging didnt exist in the 90's. today texting is huge! so what if a guy texts you? do you respond, or do you ignore like you should be doing with the phone calls?? i suggest that you take some of the rules and leave some of the rules. according to the rules, you should practice them religiously, but Elen Fien, author of the rules, was divorced after her second edition was published, "a rules marriage".
